Tentang Media Kesehatan Masyarakat Indonesia

Media Kesehatan Masyarakat Indonesia merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Hasanuddin. Jurnal ini memiliki peringkat SINTA 1 dan terindeks di Garuda. Fokus dan ruang lingkup riset yang diterima adalah pengembangan isu-isu masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Cakupan bidang keilmuan yang spesifik meliputi epidemiologi, promosi kesehatan, kesehatan lingkungan, kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja, administrasi dan kebijakan kesehatan, biostatistik, kesehatan reproduksi, manajemen rumah sakit, ilmu gizi, serta sistem informasi kesehatan di wilayah Indonesia. Proses penerbitan jurnal ini melalui tahapan editorial review dan double-blind peer review. Jurnal ini diterbitkan empat kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Maret, Juni, September, dan Desember. Status submission atau pengiriman naskah saat ini dalam keadaan terbuka. Berdasarkan data yang tersedia, jurnal ini telah menerbitkan total 451 artikel dengan jumlah sitasi sebanyak 5.918. Untuk setiap artikel yang diterima, dikenakan biaya atau article processing charge sebesar Rp3.000.000. Jurnal ini tidak terindeks di Scopus.

The Journal editor does not reveal the reviewer's credentials to the authors and vice-versa. So, both parties are not aware of each other's identity. All indicators of identity such as names, affiliations, etc are removed. Submitted manuscripts will generally be reviewed by two to three experts who will be asked to evaluate whether the manuscript is scientifically sound and coherent, whether it duplicates already published work, and whether or not the manuscript is sufficiently clear for publication. Reviewers will also be asked to indicate how interesting and significant the research is. The Editors will reach a decision based on these reports and, where necessary, they will consult with members of the Editorial Board. The authors should carefully examine sentence structure, completeness, and the accuracy of the text, references, tables, and graphic contents of the revised manuscript.
