Tentang Journal of Dentistry Indonesia
Journal of Dentistry Indonesia merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Indonesia. Jurnal ini terbit tiga kali dalam setiap tahunnya, yaitu pada bulan April, Agustus, dan Desember. Sejak pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 1993 dengan nama Majalah Kedokteran Gigi Indonesia, jurnal ini telah secara konsisten menyajikan pembaruan ilmiah di bidang kedokteran gigi dan bidang terkait lainnya. Fokus utamanya adalah mempublikasikan artikel orisinal, laporan kasus, serta tinjauan pustaka dari para kontributor di seluruh dunia.
Jurnal ini memiliki cakupan yang luas dalam ilmu kedokteran gigi, mencakup berbagai area spesifik seperti ilmu biomaterial gigi, radiologi dentomaksilofasial, pencegahan, diagnosis, dan pengobatan penyakit oral dan kraniofasial. Ruang lingkup tematik kunci yang diterima meliputi Kariologi, Kedokteran Gigi Komunitas dan Epidemiologi Oral, Kedokteran Gigi Konservatif, Pendidikan Kedokteran Gigi, Traumatologi Gigi, Endodontics, Kedokteran Gigi Estetik, Ekonomi Kesehatan, Kedokteran Gigi Implan, Biosains Oral, Bedah Mulut dan Maksilofasial, Kedokteran Mulut, Mikrobiologi Oral, Patologi Oral, Radiologi Oral, Rehabilitasi Oral, Ortodontics, Kedokteran Gigi Anak, serta Periodontologi dan Kedokteran Periodontal.
Proses penerimaan naskah di Journal of Dentistry Indonesia melalui tahapan yang ketat. Setiap naskah yang masuk akan menjalani proses double-blind peer review dan juga editorial review sebelum dinyatakan diterima untuk dipublikasikan. Status submission saat ini adalah terbuka, memungkinkan penulis dari berbagai latar belakang untuk mengirimkan karya ilmiah mereka.
Sebagai jurnal yang terus aktif, Journal of Dentistry Indonesia telah mencatatkan produktivitas yang signifikan. Hingga data terakhir, jurnal ini telah mempublikasikan total 333 artikel yang telah mengumpulkan 2473 sitasi. Edisi terakhir yang tercatat adalah Vol. 32, No. 2. Jurnal ini juga memiliki jejak digital yang kuat dengan DOI prefix 10.14693/jdi dan terindeks di Garuda. ISSN cetaknya adalah 1693-9697 dan e-ISSN-nya adalah 2355-4800. Jurnal ini beroperasi di bawah lisensi Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License.

Fokus dan Ruang Lingkup
Journal of Dentistry Indonesia (JDI) is a scientific journal that is published three times annually (April, August and December). This journal aims for continuous dissemination of updates in relation to dentistry and its related fields in the form of original articles, case reports and reviews. Its first publication was in 1993, under the name of Majalah Kedokteran Gigi Indonesia, published by the Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Indonesia. All submitted manuscripts are subjected for double-blind peer reviews and editorial reviews processes before being granted acceptance.
