Tentang Indonesian Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship (IJBE)

Indonesian Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship (IJBE) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh School of Business, Bogor Agricultural University (SB-IPB) di Kota Bogor, Jawa Barat. Jurnal ini memiliki fokus pada penelitian dan tinjauan empiris dalam bidang bisnis dan kewirausahaan. IJBE dikelola oleh sebuah dewan editor yang terdiri dari 13 anggota, dengan Hartoyo dari IPB University menjabat sebagai Editor in Chief. Beberapa anggota dewan editor lainnya berasal dari berbagai institusi, termasuk IPB University, Indonesian Institute of Technology, Jenderal Soedirman University, Tokyo University of Agriculture di Jepang, dan Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University di Thailand. IJBE merupakan jurnal akses terbuka penuh yang berarti semua kontennya tersedia secara gratis tanpa biaya bagi pengguna. Jurnal ini menerapkan lisensi Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk membaca, mengunduh, menyalin, mendistribusikan, mencetak, mencari, atau menautkan ke teks lengkap artikel tanpa meminta izin sebelumnya. Meskipun demikian, penulis mempertahankan hak cipta atas artikel yang diterbitkan, namun memberikan IJBE hak publikasi pertama dan izin untuk mempublikasikan karya di bawah ketentuan lisensi tersebut. Proses editorial IJBE melibatkan peninjauan anonim ganda, di mana naskah yang dikirimkan akan ditinjau oleh para ahli yang identitasnya dirahasiakan. Jurnal ini menerbitkan artikel sebanyak tiga kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Januari, Mei, dan September. Hingga data terakhir, IJBE telah menerbitkan total 393 artikel yang telah mengumpulkan 3.598 sitasi. IJBE terindeks di beberapa basis data dan indeksasi bergengsi, termasuk Scopus, DOAJ, Google Scholar, dan Garuda. Jurnal ini juga memiliki peringkat SINTA 2. Untuk memastikan ketersediaan jangka panjang, arsip digital jurnal ini didukung oleh layanan seperti PKP PN, LOCKSS, dan CLOCKSS, meskipun tidak ada kebijakan pengarsipan yang dinyatakan secara eksplisit. Bagi penulis yang ingin mengirimkan naskah, IJBE menerapkan biaya pemrosesan artikel (article processing charge) sebesar Rp750.000. Jurnal ini menggunakan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa utamanya dan menerima pengiriman naskah secara terbuka. Additionally, they need to provide the Author Agreement Declaration alongside the manuscript. Editor in Chief will assign the manuscript to a corresponding Section Editor for further handling. After passing administrative screening, the Chief Editor and Associate Editor will conduct a prequalification review of submitted papers to determine their suitability for further review. Manuscripts can be rejected without review if they don't align with IJBE’s scope, fail to meet its standards (due to incomplete data, inappropriate methodology, lack of novelty, etc.), or if they don't adhere to IJBE's author guidelines. If the article meets the scope, the Section Editor will request at least two scientists to review the manuscript. If the primary reviewers' opinions dissent, additional reviewers will be appointed.
