Tentang Didache: Journal of Christian Education
Didache: Journal of Christian Education merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Simpson. Jurnal ini memiliki fokus dan ruang lingkup yang mencakup berbagai aspek pendidikan Kristen, meliputi pendidikan Kristen, pendidikan gereja, filsafat dan teologi pendidikan Kristen, teknologi pembelajaran, manajemen pendidikan Kristen, serta profesionalisme guru pendidikan Kristen. Sebagai sebuah jurnal yang terakreditasi SINTA 3, Didache menerbitkan artikel secara berkala dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Juni dan Desember.
Proses penerbitan di Didache: Journal of Christian Education melibatkan tahapan peer review yang ketat. Jurnal ini menerapkan kebijakan open access, yang memungkinkan akses terbuka bagi para pembaca. Meskipun demikian, untuk mempublikasikan artikel, penulis dikenakan biaya publikasi atau article processing charge (APC) sebesar Rp750.045. Biaya ini menunjukkan bahwa akses terbuka yang ditawarkan bersifat hybrid, di mana pembaca dapat mengakses konten secara gratis, namun penulis menanggung biaya untuk proses editorial dan penerbitan.

This process is double-blind , ensuring anonymity for both authors and reviewers. Experts within the appropriate fields undertake the review, judging submissions on their scientific significance, innovation, and relevance to the journal's aims. 1. Preliminary Assessment : The editorial team initially examines each manuscript to verify if it aligns with the journal's focus and meets publication standards. Manuscripts failing to meet these criteria or showing more than 25% similarity to existing works are immediately rejected. The team also checks for proper formatting and citation style as per the author's guidelines . Non-compliant manuscripts are returned for correction and resubmission.
