Tentang Indonesian Physical Review

Indonesian Physical Review merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Mataram, tepatnya oleh Departemen Fisika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Jurnal ini memiliki peringkat S2 dalam sistem pemeringkatan SINTA. Jurnal ini dikelola dan diterbitkan secara periodik tiga kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Januari, Mei, dan September. Indonesian Physical Review merupakan jurnal akses terbuka yang dapat diakses oleh semua pembaca dan mencakup perkembangan penelitian di bidang fisika baik secara eksperimental maupun analitis. Ruang lingkup jurnal ini meliputi Fisika Teori, Komputasi, Ilmu Material, Instrumentasi, Biofisika, Geofisika, dan Optika. Jurnal ini menerapkan proses peer review yang ketat untuk menjaga kualitas publikasi. Setiap naskah yang dikirimkan ke Indonesian Physical Review akan melalui tahap penyaringan editorial awal sebelum menjalani proses peer review ganda tanpa identitas atau double-anonymous peer review. Proses review ini memiliki rata-rata waktu penyelesaian selama 7 minggu. Tingkat penerimaan artikel di jurnal ini adalah 45 persen. Sejak berdiri, jurnal ini telah mempublikasikan total 238 artikel yang telah mengumpulkan 136 sitasi. Terkait biaya publikasi, Indonesian Physical Review menerapkan article processing charge sebesar 1.500.000 IDR untuk setiap artikel yang diterima untuk dipublikasikan. Biaya ini tidak gratis. Status submission atau pengiriman naskah di jurnal ini dalam kondisi terbuka. Jurnal ini terindeks di Garuda, namun belum terindeks di Scopus. Secara umum, Indonesian Physical Review berperan sebagai wadah publikasi ilmiah yang fokus pada disiplin ilmu fisika dan bidang-bidang terkait. Dengan frekuensi penerbitan tiga kali setahun, jurnal ini menyediakan akses terbuka bagi para peneliti dan pembaca untuk mengikuti perkembangan terkini dalam penelitian fisika. Pengelolaan dan penerbitan jurnal ini sepenuhnya berada di bawah naungan Universitas Mataram.

Indonesian Physical Review is a peer review journal which is managed and published by Physics Departement, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Mataram. This journal is published periodically three times a year, in January, May and September. IPR is Open Accsess for all readers and includes research developments in physics both experimentally and analytically. Focus and scope include Theoritical Physics, Computation, Material sciences, Instrumentation, Biophysics, Geophysics, and Optics.

In this process, the identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and the identities of the reviewers are concealed from the authors. Initial Editorial Screening The editorial team evaluates each submission to determine whether it complies with the journal’s focus and scope, author guidelines, ethical requirements, and minimum standards of scientific quality. The manuscript may be returned to the authors for technical corrections or rejected without external review if it is outside the journal’s scope or does not meet the journal’s requirements. Reviewer Assignment Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript and disclose any potential conflict of interest before accepting the review assignment.
