Tentang PRofesi Humas
Jurnal PRofesi Humas diterbitkan oleh LP3 Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas Padjadjaran, dan berafiliasi dengan IPRAHUMAS. Jurnal ini memiliki ISSN cetak 2528-6927 dan ISSN elektronik 2541-3678. Sebagai jurnal yang terakreditasi Sinta 2 berdasarkan SK No. 10/E/KPT/2019 dari Kemenristekdikti RI, PRofesi Humas berfokus pada kajian Ilmu Hubungan Masyarakat. Jurnal ini menerbitkan naskah terpilih dua kali setahun, yaitu pada bulan Februari dan Agustus, dengan total 140 artikel yang telah diterbitkan dan mengumpulkan 2354 sitasi.
Proses submission naskah di jurnal ini dimulai ketika sebuah artikel diterima oleh ketua editor. Naskah tersebut kemudian akan dikirimkan ke editor seksi melalui proses *Initial Review*. Setelah melewati tahap awal ini, artikel akan diteruskan ke para *peer reviewer* untuk menjalani proses *Double Blind Peer Review*. Dalam proses ini, identitas penulis dan *reviewer* dirahasiakan satu sama lain untuk menjamin objektivitas penilaian. Seluruh rangkaian proses review, mulai dari *Initial Review* hingga *Double Blind Peer Review*, memakan waktu beberapa bulan.
Setelah proses *peer review* selesai, naskah akan dikembalikan kepada penulis untuk dilakukan revisi. Para *reviewer* yang menilai naskah memiliki keahlian dalam berbagai bidang spesifik, antara lain *Political Public Relations*, *Public Relations Management*, *Public Relations Crisis*, *Public Relations and Publics*, *Public Relations Audit*, *Marketing Public Relations*, *Corporate Social Responsibility* (CSR), dan *Human Relations*. Mereka juga berpengalaman dalam pengelolaan dan penerbitan jurnal bergengsi baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. Penilaian dari *peer reviewer* mencakup aspek substantif dan teknis dari setiap naskah.
PRofesi Humas menerapkan kebijakan *open access* yang memberikan akses terbuka kepada publik untuk membaca abstrak dan naskah lengkap. Jurnal ini menerbitkan naskah di bawah lisensi *Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License*. Jurnal ini menerima naskah dengan pendekatan interdisipliner dan multidisipliner yang berfokus pada isu-isu terkait hubungan masyarakat.
