Tentang Jurnal Serambi Engineering

Jurnal Serambi Engineering merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Serambi Mekkah dan berfokus pada publikasi artikel di bidang teknik dan sains. Jurnal ini memiliki cakupan luas yang mencakup berbagai disiplin ilmu seperti Earth & Planetary Sciences, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science, serta Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering. Diterbitkan empat kali dalam setahun pada bulan Januari, April, Juli, dan Oktober, jurnal ini menyediakan akses terbuka penuh kepada seluruh kontennya dengan prinsip mendukung pertukaran pengetahuan global secara gratis. Status penerimaan naskah untuk jurnal ini saat ini terbuka. Proses submission naskah di Jurnal Serambi Engineering dimulai dengan pemeriksaan awal oleh Editor. Naskah yang masuk akan ditinjau terlebih dahulu untuk kesesuaian bahasa dan kesesuaian dengan ruang lingkup jurnal serta prosedur penulisan sesuai panduan penulis. Setelah lolos pemeriksaan awal, naskah akan masuk ke dalam proses peer review. Jurnal ini menerapkan sistem blind review, di mana identitas penulis dan reviewer dirahasiakan selama proses penilaian untuk menjamin objektivitas. Kebijakan ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen jurnal terhadap etika publikasi ilmiah yang ketat. Setiap naskah yang diterima untuk dipublikasikan akan dikenakan article publication charge (APC) sebesar Rp500.000 (IDR). Jurnal ini tidak memberikan pembebasan biaya publikasi. Hak cipta dan izin terkait penggunaan konten menjadi tanggung jawab penuh penulis, termasuk konsekuensi hukum yang mungkin timbul dari penggunaan perangkat lunak atau sitasi. Jurnal ini menyediakan akses terbuka langsung ke seluruh arsipnya, yang saat ini telah mengumpulkan total 1.083 artikel dengan jumlah sitasi sebanyak 1.927. Dalam hal indeksasi, Jurnal Serambi Engineering terindeks di beberapa basis data ilmiah penting, termasuk DOAJ, Google Scholar, dan Garuda. Jurnal ini juga memiliki peringkat S4 dari SINTA. Meskipun belum terindeks di Scopus, jurnal ini aktif dalam ekosistem publikasi ilmiah nasional. Edisi terakhir yang diterbitkan adalah Vol. 11 No. 2 (2026): April 2026, yang menunjukkan kelanjutan aktivitas penerbitannya. Dewan editor jurnal ini terdiri dari 15 orang editor yang berasal dari berbagai institusi dan program studi, dengan Muhammad Nizar sebagai Editor in Chief. Keberagaman latar belakang editor ini mencerminkan cakupan multidisiplin jurnal. Dengan fokus pada bidang teknik dan sains serta proses review yang terstruktur, Jurnal Serambi Engineering berupaya menjadi wadah publikasi yang kredibel bagi para peneliti dan akademisi.

Editor's Responsibilities The editor of the SERAMBI ENGINEERING Journal is responsible for deciding which articles are eligible for publication through editorial board meetings. Editors are guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and are limited by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. In the process of accepting articles, the editorial team is based on the principle of equal treatment. SEARCH SUBMIT Home / Peer Review Process Peer Review Process Incoming manuscripts will be checked first by the Editor for language suitability and conformity with the scope of the journal and writing procedures according to the author guidelines. If according to the editor the manuscript is worthy of being reviewed by a reviewer, then the manuscript will be sent to two reviewers. However, if the manuscript does not match the initial criteria, the manuscript will be returned to the author. The reviewer conducts a review using the blind review process method where the reviewer does not know the name of the author of the manuscript. The assessment criteria include originality, substance of the article, research methodology and research results. The Editorial Board has the authority to accept or reject the submitted manuscript or ask the author to revise the manuscript so that it can be published by the journal. SEARCH SUBMIT Home / Author Guideline Author Guideline Manuscripts are original writings that have never been published by any media. Manuscripts written for JSE are scientific works resulting from field or laboratory research as well as literature reviews in the fields of engineering and science. All fonts used are Times New Roman with the following writing format: Article title 16 pts Author and subtitles 11 pts Affiliates, email correspondence and articles, 10 pts For table writing, single space. The size of the A4 paper area, with the top, bottom, left, right borders is 2 cm and a single column. The number of pages between 7-14 pages. Manuscripts are sent in soft/copy form (file *.doc) via e-mail: [email protected] or [email protected] The author's affiliation must be listed under the title including full name without academic degree, institution name, institution address, and include an email that can be contacted. If the manuscript is written by the team, the JSE editor only deals with the author whose name is listed as the email correspondent.
