Tentang Jurnal Potensi

Jurnal Potensi adalah jurnal peer-review yang dikelola oleh Program Studi Magister Perencanaan Wilayah Universitas Batam dan diterbitkan oleh Universitas Batam. Jurnal ini bertujuan menyebarluaskan informasi ilmiah yang berasal dari riset para mahasiswa, dosen, peneliti, dan pemerhati masalah-masalah yang terkait dengan bidang Ilmu Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota (Planologi). Cakupannya mencakup aspek kependudukan, fisik kota/wilayah, pertanian, spasial, transportasi, ekonomi, sosial budaya, hukum, infrastruktur, kebencanaan, dan teknologi. Secara klasifikasi bidang, jurnal ini mencakup Civil Engineering, Building, Construction & Architecture; Decision Sciences, Operations Research & Management; Economics, Econometrics & Finance; Environmental Science; Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering; serta Transportation. Dari sisi indeksasi, Jurnal Potensi tercatat terindeks di Garuda, sementara status terindeks Scopus tidak tercatat. Jurnal ini juga terdaftar dengan peringkat S5 dalam sistem SINTA. DOI prefix yang tercatat adalah 10.37776. Jumlah artikel yang tercatat dalam jurnal ini adalah 69 artikel. Edisi terakhir yang tercatat adalah Vol. 6 No. 1 (2026): MARET. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Maret dan September. Dalam hal proses editorial, Jurnal Potensi menerapkan peer review yang dijelaskan dalam kebijakan PEER REVIEW PROCESS. Artikel yang disubmit akan ditinjau oleh editor dalam waktu sekitar 2 minggu, dan proses review akan dilanjutkan oleh tim reviewer jurnal. Jurnal ini juga memiliki kebijakan PUBLICATION ETHICS yang menjelaskan perilaku etis semua pihak yang terlibat dalam proses publikasi artikel, termasuk penulis, editor, peer reviewer, dan penerbit, dengan dasar COPE's Best Practice Guidelines. Untuk aspek biaya publikasi, Jurnal Potensi menerapkan article processing charge sebesar IDR 400.000. Status submission saat ini terbuka bagi para penulis. The format review process will continue with a review process by the potential journal reviewer team. In this case, it takes about 1 - 2 months. The article review process uses blind peer review.
