Tentang Journal of Data Insights

Journal of Data Insights merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Jurnal ini berfokus pada bidang Computer Science & IT serta Mathematics, dengan ruang lingkup spesifik pada pemrosesan, analisis, dan interpretasi data untuk pengambilan keputusan berbasis data di berbagai sektor seperti industri, rumah sakit, pemerintahan, dan universitas. Sebagai sebuah publikasi akses terbuka, jurnal ini menerapkan kebijakan yang membuat artikel yang diterbitkan tersedia secara gratis secara online tanpa memerlukan langganan. Proses penerbitan di Journal of Data Insights menggunakan sistem peer review double-blind, yang menjamin anonimitas baik bagi penulis maupun reviewer. Jurnal ini menerima dua jenis naskah: paper pendek yang membahas satu kontribusi terhadap tren atau ide baru, serta paper lebih panjang yang menguraikan tren penelitian spesifik. Setiap artikel yang dikirimkan harus memuat validasi dari ide yang diusulkan, misalnya melalui studi kasus, eksperimen, atau perbandingan sistematis dengan pendekatan lain yang sudah ada. Jurnal ini beroperasi dengan status submission yang terbuka, menerima kiriman naskah dari para peneliti. Frekuensi penerbitannya adalah dua kali dalam setahun. Hingga data terakhir, jurnal ini telah menerbitkan total 34 artikel. Edisi terakhir yang tercatat adalah Vol 3 No 2 (2025). Jurnal ini terindeks di Garuda, namun belum terindeks di Scopus. Peringkat jurnal ini dalam SINTA adalah S3. Mengenai aspek biaya, Journal of Data Insights menerapkan article processing charge (APC) sebesar 45 USD untuk setiap artikel yang diterima untuk dipublikasikan. Biaya ini tidak gratis. Secara keseluruhan, Journal of Data Insights menawarkan sebuah platform akses terbuka yang memfasilitasi diseminasi penelitian di bidang ilmu data. Fokus dan Ruang Lingkup

The Journal of Data Insights is an open access publication for peer-reviewed scholarly journals. The Journal of Data Insights focuses on the processing, analysis and interpretation of data for data-driven decisions and solutions in industry, hospitals, government and universities. All articles should contain a validation of the proposed idea, e.g. through case studies, experiments, or a systematic comparison with other already practiced approaches. Two types of papers will be accepted: (1) a short paper discussing a single contribution to a particular new trend or idea, and; (2) a longer paper outlining a specific Research trends. As part of our commitment to scientific advancement, Journal of Data Insights follows an open access policy, which makes published articles freely available online without subscription.
